The 18th Bangladesh Caterers Association (BCA) Annual Awards took place in grand style at a premier central London venue, bringing together over a thousand distinguished guests, Member of Parliaments, high commissioners, culinary masters, and restaurant owners from across the United Kingdom.
Known affectionately throughout the hospitality sector as the 'Oscars of the Curry Industry', the awards recognized outstanding regional achievement across twelve territories in England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. Finalists underwent unannounced mystery dining evaluations and intense culinary cook-offs judged by leading culinary authorities.
The evening culminated in the presentation of the coveted Chef of the Year and Restaurant of the Year awards, as well as Special Recognition honours to pioneers who have dedicated decades of service to elevating Britain's £4.5 billion curry sector.
President Oli Khan MBE praised the resilience and innovation of British-Bangladeshi restaurateurs, remarking that 'tonight demonstrates the incredible talent, passion, and cultural contribution of our caterers who continue to enrich communities on every high street across Britain.'
